Private Dining · Troy Hill
Nobody has to host.
A room of your own. Your table. Your menu. Your bartender.
How a night here goes
The shape of an evening
Your room is set before anyone arrives.
Candles going, glassware out, the table already yours. You don't have to shuffle tables and chairs. You don't have to wait to be seated. You don't have to do anything, really. We're here to manage everything from lighting and music and décor and personalized menus to toasts and personalized drinks and desserts.
Coats go somewhere. Somebody puts a drink in your hand. That's the whole first ten minutes.
Dinner
Shared to start.
Plated just for you.
Our favorite way to feed a table is to serve snacks and small plates and sides family style for everyone to share, then every guest gets their own entrée and dessert. It's what most parties end up loving, and what Peter builds by default.
It's not the only way we do it, though. We can run the whole night family style, or go fully plated with a coursed tasting menu — whichever shape fits your group. Tell us what you're picturing and we'll build the menu around it.
We can customize anything. Tell us what the night is and Peter builds the menu around it.

Minimum room food and beverage purchases
Minimums
Minimums are food and beverage spend, before tax and gratuity — not a room fee. Whatever your party eats and drinks counts toward it. Allergies and dietary restrictions are a normal part of the conversation; send them with your headcount and Peter builds around them.
The whole place
You can have all of it.
We don't buy the restaurant out often. We're a neighborhood place and most nights we'd rather the neighborhood could get a table.
But for neighbors, friends, and the regulars who've been sitting at this bar for years — yes. Close the doors, take every seat, run the whole room. It's a conversation, so come talk to us about what you have in mind.
Before you ask
Event FAQs
How many people fit?
24 seated for a full dinner. Up to 35 if you go stationed and passed with limited seating. More than that, ask us about the whole restaurant.
Do you do daytime?
Yes, and Saturday showers are one of our favorite things to do. The afternoon minimum is $1,500.
Is the bartender really just for us?
Yes. Your room, your bar, one person behind it the whole night.
Where does everyone park?
Street parking on Lowrie and the blocks around it. It's Troy Hill — leave five extra minutes and skip the heels.
Can we buy out the restaurant?
For neighbors and regulars, yes. We don't do it often, so start the conversation early.
How far ahead?
December: now. The rest of the year: three or four weeks is comfortable.
Let's get it on the calendar.
Send a headcount and a date. We'll come back within one business day with what's open and what it costs.
Or skip all of it — (412) 251-0822
